Oops!

by hammonjj

So, this post is going to be a little short because I only have one hand at the moment.

I was on a standard training ride to Hygiene via 36 and something came off of a car and I hit it. The cops told me it was a piece of a bumper but it happened so fast that I don’t really know for sure. I bounced off the concrete at approximately 33 mph and was taken to the hospital by paramedics. Once there they discovered that I had a broken wrist and pelvis.

What does this mean for riding? The doctors predict I won’t be able to ride again for between 4-6 weeks.

I’ll keep updating on my recovery and return to riding as my recovery progresses.

Sorry to hear that. Follow the doctor’s orders and make sure you recover well before riding again. Don’t want any setbacks from coming back too soon.
